During your time in 4-H, did you experience:
- Learning about projects such as animals, cooking or sewing?
- Surviving your first speech or demonstration?
- Making lifelong friends?
- Travelling to other parts of the province or country on programs and exchanges?
If you answered YES to any of these questions, you know firsthand how 4-H can benefit young people. If you (or someone you know) is a past 4-H member or leader, we'd like to get to know you again. Your skills, experience, energy and contacts are invaluable to 4-H clubs in your community and throughout the province.
This is an opportunity to reconnect with 4-H. As part of the BC 4-H network, you can act as a role model for 4-H members and encourage their continued participation in the 4-H program.
Benefits of recapturing the spirit:
- Be listed in a 4-H alumni directory so you can stay in touch with 4-H friends in the province, and your name will be on the mailing list for future alumni reunions and 4-H events.
- Have the chance to share your experience and act as a resource (judge, speaker, helper) for 4-H clubs in your area if you wish.
- Receive our 4-H in BC publication. The publication will keep you up to date on the happenings of 4-H in the province and in your area.
- Help to build the BC 4-H Foundation, an endowment fund whose sole purpose is funding new and existing 4-H programs.
To get started today, please sign our guest book and we will get in touch with you.
